Your day to day

Overview of the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Room Attendants to join the Housekeeping team in this beautifully refurbished hotel. You will play a key part in creating memorable experiences for our guests to exceed their expectations and you will be responsible for ensuring the highest possible standard of cleanliness within guest bedrooms.

Key Duties and Responsibilities • Maintain the cleanliness and good order of all rooms to create a pleasant environment for our guests and our team• Perform cleaning and maintenance of all storage areas, public areas and employee areas to the required standard • Handle any guest queries in a courteous and professional manner and escalate as required, as well as reporting any faulty equipment, damaged furniture or maintenance issues• Maintain your departmental area in a safe, hygienic and presentable state, at all times.

What we need from you

The ideal Room Attendant will be passionate about delivering high levels of guest service, ensuring all health and safety and hotel standards are adhered to and have the drive, determination and commitment to make things happen.

The ideal Room Attendant must also be able to display the following:

• Excellent personal presentation, be professional at all times and have a pro-active approach in completing tasks• Superb attention to detail and be able to work well under pressure• Be able to work on one’s own initiative• Be keen to play a role within the wider hotel team, which includes supporting other operational departments daily
