At the moment we're looking for a Chief Steward to lead our [ENTER HOTEL BRAND ATTRIBUTES eg, motivated and professional] Stewarding team at [ENTER HOTEL NAME].
Reporting to the Head Chef, you'll oversee and direct all aspects of the Stewarding operation. This includes your ability to oversee the preparation of kitchen equipment for use, manage the receipt and storage of kitchen goods, oversee the cleaning of the premises, the removal of waste and the handling of kitchen linen. You'll maintain a hygienic kitchen, ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained, as well as control and analyse costs, breakage, quality of support provided to other sections, condition and cleanliness of facilities and equipment and guest satisfaction and handle administrative work and keep up-dated files.
Ideally you'll have previous management experience in Stewarding in a busy kitchen, preferrably within the hotel industry. You'll be skilled at prioritising tasks and take pride in your ability to maintain the hotel kitchen to the highest standard.
