POSITION OVERVIEW: Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Coordinator will have the overall responsibility to ensure that all internal and external networks, systems and devises are working at an optimum level at all times. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Meet with hotel staff/clients to ascertain and understand their needs and provide prompt and professional assistance and support - Set up and organize workstations with designated supplies, forms, and resource materials - Conduct periodic tests and inspections to ensure all departments are complying with required procedures - Identify training needs and recommend actions - Assist in the monitoring of all related hotel systems and ensure proper operation and condition - Ensuring that the hotel computer system(s) are installed and operating properly - Ensure that system security measures are in place, that the computer hardware is well maintained, that the system(s) are utilized to their maximum potential, and that new systems are installed to improve hotel efficiency and profitability - Adhere to hotel and IHG standards, guidelines and procedures - Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent plus some computer set-up and troubleshooting experience required. Some college experience preferred. Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Computer Science or Information Technology is preferred. Other Requirements: - You may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays - Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company - Working knowledge of networks, including wired and wireless connections and the ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues - Experience using the Windows10 operating system preferred - Able to troubleshoot various technology challenges and devices using all resources to resolve issues in a quick and efficient manner - Knowledge of PMS and POS systems, Opera/Micros preferred - Knowledge in PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards) - Good team player, proactive, self-motivated, responsible, hardworking and able to work under pressure - Strong analytical and problem solving skills - Good writing skills In return we'll give you a competitive financial and benefits package which may include healthcare support, dental, vision, disability and life insurance support, and a matching 401k plan.
