Your day to day
In conjunction with the hotel General Manager and the conference team at property, develop, implement and report on the hotel’s pricing and sales strategies, taking into account booking trends, conference and event BOB, competitor analysis and other external market influences, reviewing by market segment, for the month and the following 3 months and to year-end.Key responsibilities:* Prepare daily pricing pick up reports and apply all changes in Opera PMS, monitoring the performance in Bedroom, F&B, Room Hire and Leisure revenue.* Weekly Revenue Manager meetings with the General Managers and Management Team to discuss:- Pricing Strategies- Discuss OTA Insight pricing and STR performance for the hotels vs competitor sets- Monitor various trackers and analyse the business based on what business is needed based on previous year results and budget requirements - Groups (Rooming lists outstanding and groups statuses)- Special Events- Booking pace since the last sales strategy meeting- Booking pace against previous year- Variances vs Forecast and Budget- High Demand periods and strategyPrepare weekly forecastsAssist Reservations Manager regarding all reservations responsibilities and tasks Monitor M&E and wedding production and work closely with the sales team on achieving targets and following up on all PRO business Maintain Room Authorizations and hotels overbooking limits* Maintain restrictions and authorizations.* Review retail pricing 365 days out * Manage promotions and ensuring rate codes are loaded and communicated to the various departments and teams.* Shop rates online to ensure the hotels are priced correctly in the market* Prepare documents for weekly sales and revenue management strategy meeting* Month end procedures providing feedback and analysis on previous months performance and critique the previous month's pricing, inventory and market share strategies and results* Prepare and submit yearly budget for approval for all hotel revenue streams and departments
