Your day to day

We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist , based in Tokyo , who will support the technology delivery and activities that supports IHG’s success in Japan

This role will be the prime technology partner to our corporate colleagues and hotels in Japan as well as supporting the hotel opening and hotel conversion process to drive operational performance to enhance guest and colleague satisfaction. This role will support the day-to-day running of the Technology Infrastructure in the Tokyo corporate office and hotels across Japan and be the first point of contact for support-related issues for corporate colleagues. It will also assist in hotel technology projects in Japan.

What we need from you

Ideally you will have a Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or a relevant field or work, ITIL V3 Foundation preferred. Plus Microsoft platform (Windows OS, Office 365) – preferably MCSE-certified, Cisco Networking – preferably CCNA-certified.

At least 4 years in Networking, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Administration and Support, with experience in managing medium scale projects and experience in hotel specific systems (Opera PMS, Sales & Catering, Finance, etc)

Fluent in English and Japanese
