Crowne Plaza Terrigal Pacific is located opposite one of the most speculator beaches along the picturesque Central Coast of NSW. Our dynamic, successful hotel is looking for an Assistant Manager of Finance & Business Support to join our team.
Your day to day
In this role, you’ll support the Director of Finance & Business Support to manage the hotel's financial operations and ensure the security of hotel assets. Reporting on the financial state of hotel you'll also make recommendations to improve hotel profitability. You'll act as a point of contact for all hotel financial and accounting-related issues with owners, auditors (internal and external) and regulatory agencies.
What we need from you
You’ll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills. For this vital role, we're looking for someone who has a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hotel finance related role and knowledge of accounting management duties e.g. negotiating hotel space and tenant leases; processing payroll; performing asset management duties; providing business projections, displacement analysis, preparing government reports, filing tax returns etc.
An integral part of the team, you will have excellent communication skills across all levels of the organisation, strong organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to work within deadlines and have a high focus on attention to detail.
You will also have a Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Accounting and Finance or and a professional accounting or finance designation or certification is preferred.
