We are currently looking for a Director of National Sales, Australasia based in Sydney who will be responsible for the delivery of revenues from a defined group of key accounts located in Australasia. They will be responsible for the short and long term strategic direction of all market segments, providing insight, industry knowledge and direction to the wider IHG community. Responsible for the leadership of team members across Australia and New Zealand who will deliver the revenues from these accounts.

Reporting directly into the Director of Regional Sales, Australasia you will work hand in hand with the global sales, revenue and marketing leads, and ensure that the strategic, contracting and account management processes are in place to deliver upon the requirements of the Australasia IHG community.

Qualifications

To be successful in your

application, you will bring with you a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a

multi-unit senior sales role within the hospitality industry or a leading

Australian national corporation. You will currently hold an internationally

recognised Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business or Hospitality Management.

You will display a

demonstrated ability to maintaining and instilling relationships with international

and regional clients, promoting multi hotel brand and destinations. This

combined with your superior expertise in sales principles and techniques and

knowledge of the local and international markets will set you up for

success. Exceptional client management, problem solving, effective

communication, negotiation and organization skills are essential.

A proven ability in

growing and developing internal sales talent and driving results through your

team is essential.
