Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach is currently looking for a Business Development Director to join our team.
Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing and being a key part of the hotels Sales & Marketing team, you will ensure that all Sales efforts support the maximization of Rooms and Food & Beverage revenue performance.
Partnering with the hotels Business Development and Crowne Meetings teams, you will be responsible for the pursuit and securing of opportunities to enlarge the hotels Corporate and MICE sales base. Through the management of an assigned account base you will ensure that the hotel exceeds targets with the implementation of effective sales plans and activities to drive total revenue, brand preference and market share growth. You will also oversee responsibility for the performance of the Sales team, by keeping them focused and aligned on sales strategies, revenue driving plans and client relationship management.
You'll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills. Because, for this vital role, we're looking for an experienced Senior Sales Leader with at least 2-3 years demonstrated performance in a hotel environment within Australasia. As a highly proactive and motivated leader with strong drive and accountability, you will have an in depth knowledge of sales principles, techniques and stakeholder management.
You will need to display your understanding of industry dynamics, trends, and discipline, in addition to your ability to develop strategic sales plans, establish goals and objectives, set performance targets and deliver projects on time. You will also have a high level of confidence in communicating and presenting analysed data and information both verbally and written. You must meet the legal requirements to work in this country.
