Due to growth and expansion in this region were looking for a brilliant Brand PR Manager for Australasia and Japan (AUAJ), this role will be based in Sydney. In this role you will develop and deliver PR campaigns for all IHG brands across Australasia and Japan to deliver cut-through consumer PR that increases awareness and preference. Including:- Focus on big ideas for brand PR that wins the hearts and minds of consumers, and set our brands apart from the competition Develop and manage the AUAJ PR calendar Lead the development and enable the implementation of external PR activity across AUAJ to deliver global brand objectives, working alongside team members across GCA. Daily management of an agency network to ensure alignment, consistency, efficiency, effectiveness and value for money. Establish positioning platforms and key messaging that differentiate our brands and makes them locally relevant whilst delivering global requirements. Training, advice and support to key management as required. Subject matter expert on ˜great PR Effective reporting, performance data and analytics to measure PR ROI Establish and maintain media relationships with media outlets

Your day to day

You will have a Bachelors or Masters degree preferably in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience in the hospitality - Excellent English and any further languages (ideally Japanese) would be valuable, though not essential. Along with at least five years experience in external communications, preferably in an international business. Experience of working within a complex business with a range of stakeholders with different needs and with senior people; experience of agency management and strong writing skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines and juggle multiple projects.
