Your day to day
Great food and beverage memories come from many places. As a Barista/ Bartender in our Cafe Opera Restaurant you will assist with the seamless running of the department by providing an excellent and highly efficient customer service to our guests. Your main responsibilities will include preparing the best quality coffee and tea orders during breakfast service and beer, wine, cocktails & mocktails during lunch and dinner service. You will also be involved with the leadership team in creating and updating the beverage menu in a timely manner. In this role you are required to have a thorough knowledge of our menus and beverage list and a good understanding of how to create bespoke and luxury guest experiences.
What we need from you
You'll be a motivated, outgoing and genuine person who loves to interact with a variety of people and working as part of a team. You'll hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol, be able to work across a 7 day rotating roster and have a passion for exceeding guest expectations. Ideally you'll have at least one year experience in a similar or customer service role in a hotel environment, have the ability to communicate at all levels and have a real passion for ensuring our guests enjoy an effortless stay.
