Your day to day
Here at InterContinental Sydney we are currently looking for casual Banquet Attendants to join our fun and energetic Banquets team.
As a Banquet attendant you'll:
Make sure all our meetings and events run smoothly
Work with our internal teams to deliver a seamless , true luxury experience for hosts and meeting attendees
Be charming, approachable and confident
Understand and anticipate guests’ needs, being attentive and taking ownership of getting things done
Make it memorable by being knowledgeable, sharing stories and showing your style to create moments that makemeeting attendees feel special
What we need from you
Effective time management
Attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with team members, guests and third parties
Report to work punctually in accordance with roster, dressed in appropriate uniform and with impeccable grooming which complies with the Hotel’s policy and procedures.
At all times, ensure complete guest satisfaction as top priority.
Maintain a consistent standard of conduct that is courteous and loyal to both guests and fellow Associates throughout the Hotel.
Adhere to the standards and sequence of service within the outlet.
The ability to work a rotating roster including, late evenings, weekends and public holidays and Australian work rights is also a must.
