IHG Assistant Night Manager - Holiday Inn Potts Point in Sydney, Australia

The Role:

Calling all night owls! We have a leadership role in our tight-knit night team – as an Assistant Night Manager – that is responsible ensuring the Hotel’s smooth operation during an overnight shift. You’ll work with our security and housekeeping partners to maintain the safety and security of guests, staff and visitors as the Manager on Duty. To ensure the Hotel continues to run efficiently, you’ll also produce and analyse nightly Hotel reports, setting the team up for success the next day. We’re looking for someone who can provide experience and support as a leader in our night team, while you’ll also have the opportunity to mentor and develop our Night Auditor.

The Person:

  • Experience in a front office/night audit/finance role

  • Hospitality industry experience desired but not essential – we’ll teach you our systems during on-boarding

  • Experience in leading and supporting a team

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Team player with a collaborative approach to work

  • Strong attention to detail, written and communication skills

  • Computer savvy, particularly versed in Microsoft Excel

  • Ability to build rapport quickly and manage multiple stakeholders

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload

  • This role requires a valid NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol competency card and First Aid qualifications
