Join us as a Duty Manager in Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium. You’ll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills. Because of this vital role, we are looking for someone who can
Promotes inter-hotel sales andin-house facilities.
Checks billing instructions andmonitors guest credit.
Analyses and approves discountsand rebates.
Ensures front line staffcomplies with FIT marketing techniques and maximize sales.
Analyses the rate variancereport to ensure rooms revenue control.
Reports directly to andcommunicates with the Front Office Manager on all pertinent mattersaffecting guest service and hotel operations.
Monitors appropriate standardsof conduct, uniform, hygiene, and appearance of staff.
Provides input for Front Officemeetings.
Reacts to situations to ensureguests receive prompt attention and personal recognition throughout thehotel.
Responds to guest needs andresolves related problems.
Supports and assists FrontOffice personnel and all departments at peak periods.
Ensures VIPs and priority clubguests receive special attention.
Inspects front of house andback of house regularly for cleanliness.
Assists Guest Relations ingreeting, rooming, and sending off VIP guests.
Takes action with the PropertyManagement Systems (PMS) in emergency situation.
Fully conversant with all hotelemergency procedures.
Be aware of duty of care andadhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies andprocedures
Be familiar with propertysafety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipmentsafely and sensibly
Initiate action to correct ahazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers
Log security incidents andaccidents in accordance with hotel requirements
In addition, youshould have the following qualifications and skills that we are looking for:-
Diploma or degree in HotelManagement
At least 4 years experience ina similar function
Strong inter-personal skills
Able to work independently withminimum supervision
Passion to work in a dynamicenvironment
Demonstrated ability tointeract with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highlyon the hotel, the brand and the Company.
