Your day to day
As the Reservations Manager you will lead the Reservations function at InterContinental Sanctuary Cove and InterContinental, Hayman Island as well as leading the project management of the New Hotel Opening Reservations Plan. Reporting to the Cluster Director of Revenue, post opening, you will conduct vigilant and appropriate yield management and actively contribute towards revenue generation through effective management of the reservations department and system. Providing the sales and marketing function with current and accurate information on both the internal reservation situation and the external climate which the Resorts operate within and monitor the daily operations of reservations.
Additionally, you will work in partnership with the Rooms Division to control rooms inventory including allocation and reservations to areas of maximum yield and black out dates, develop and conduct rooms based marketing activities and track sales programs/promotions/advertising and provide feedback as necessary to relevant departments.
What we need from you
The ideal candidate will have experience both in hospitality, leadership and working in a large complex hotel with multiple revenue streams. You will have demonstrated capability in influencing and impacting business strategy and also have the ability to provide structure and process to the Reservations function. You will be a change agent with the ability to work alongside a team and collaborate with key stakeholders with a sense of urgency. Strategic thinking and the ability to explore new ways of working and be open minded on how we can drive process forward will highly advantageous. Demonstrated ability to work with guests and champion a brand is also a must.
