Duties and Responsibilities

  • To monitor stock movementand be responsible for ordering on your section

  • To ensure minimum kitchenwastage.

  • To ensure knowledge of theproduct is maintained and communicated to all relevant personnel.

  • To be responsible forcompleting your mis en place

  • To learn and record skillsand recipes from other members of the department

  • To report any maintenanceissues to the Head Chef immediately.

  • To comply with all IHG FoodSafety Standard policies and procedures to ensure that all statutoryregulations are observed.

  • To liaise with the Head Chef/Sous Chef andimplement new menu/dishes/systems where applicable

  • To ensure all statutoryregulations are adhered to, such as food hygiene policies

  • To be flexible and willingto help the restaurant kitchen at busy times if required

ACCOUNTABILITY

Maintain high level of

hygiene and food safety standards and work closely with the service staff to

create true hospitality experience for all guest.

Responsible for the development of the staff working in your area

Ensuring and maintaining food cost by assisting seniors in effective

planning and sharing innovative thoughts to create unique experience

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

2 year’s minimum

experience as Demi Chef De Partie in the Japanese specialty Restaurant or related

professional area.

Degree

or Diploma from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant

Management, or related major; 2 year’s experience in the culinary, food and

beverage, or related professional area.
