Your day to day

Job DescriptionSales Manager - MICE Reactive is responsible for implementing all sales activities and maximize business opportunities in specific area of responsibility. The role involves implementing and executing all sales action plans and will include key responsibilities such as:•Handle all incoming MICE RFP generated by inbound or outbound sales offices, pertaining to own defined segment or portfolio•Implement and execute all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed set targets•Prepare offer letters according to guest requirements and availability, according to company standards and selling strategy•Ensure that all necessary information about the event is obtained either from account manager or from the client directly prior to the preparation of an offer•Maximize up selling opportunities by proposing additional events and activities suitable and complimenting to the MICE booking•Establish and maintain files of major accounts and assist MICE Pro-active team in maintaining the accounts management system• Ensure that IHG Way of Sales is adhered to at all times

What we need from you

Skills;· Bachelor’s degree and minimum three years’ work experience as MICE manager, ideally within the hotel industry. Y· Proficiency in MS Office , excel, work and PowerPoint .
