Your day to day
As a casual Receiving Clerk , you will be part of our small and friendly Finance & Business Support Team, rostered to cover 1 shift per week and any other adhoc shifts as required.
When rostered you will be responsible for all aspects of receiving goods for the hotel within the limist of IHG policy and procedure. This will include checking and counting all goods per approved purchase order or daily market list; ensure that goods are in order, of good quality and according to the established specifications; and to reject all goods which do not meet the specifications.
What we need from you
The successful candidate must;
Be motivated, proactive & organised with strong communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
Must be regularly available to work shifts beginning at 6.00am (particularly on Mondays).
Proven ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties in a professional manner.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
Due to the manual handling required throughout the shift, moving goods from the loading bay to all part of the hotel, must be physically fit.
