Opened in late 2017, inspired by the Spanish word for ‘ember’, Ascua offers an Australian approach to Spanish cuisine with a scorching spirit. The theatre-style open kitchen is a focal point for diners, showcasing a sizzling wood-fired grill with chefs preparing dry-aged meats and seafood to perfection.
Along with running section, the Chef de Partie , role is responsible to assist in bringing to life the the supervision, concept delivery, profitability and efficient operation of the restaurant.
The Ascua team members are also part of supporting other venues, such as Graffiti, Heno & Rey Tapas and Room Service.

Ideally, you will have 1 years of experience in a Chef De Partie (Supervisor) role with relevant commercial cookery certification and experience in a modern and successful venue or multi-venue environment.
Additionally you will have great attention to detail, exceptional teamwork ability, time management skills and a high standard of professional presentation. You will also have working knowledge and understanding of HACCP principles.
Experience in modern and/or authentic Mediterranean or Spanish cuisine is preferred.
