Your day to day
Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach are looking for a Business Development Executive – Meetings and Events. You’ll receive and qualify Conference and Event leads, tailor winning proposals and conduct winning negotiations to ensure the best business is converted at the right time. To ensure a high level of repeat business for the Hotel, you’ll focus on proactively targeting exiting and past clients and strategically source new business from cancelled or lost leads.
This role reports into our Business Development Director and you’ll work with a driven and passionate team, giving you the opportunity to develop your sales and leadership skills and take your career to the next level.
What we need from you
Minimum 1 year experience in sales, hospitality industry experience preferred but not essential
Strong organisational, written and communication skills
Team player with a collaborative approach to work
Strong attention to detail
Ability to build rapport quickly and manage multiple stakeholders
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload
