At the moment we're looking for a Health Club Supervisor to join our energetic, enthusiastic and passionate team at InterContinental Nairobi.InterContinental Nairobi is situated along City Hall way in Nairobi overlooking the City and a 5 minutes drive from the City Centre. The Hotel is located 16kms from JKIA Airport which is a 30 minutes drive. Your day to day

Under the general guidance and supervision of the Chief Steward or his/her designate within the limits of established InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG) policies, procedures, provides leadership and workflow processes that are in accordance with departmental standards whilst taking a lead role in service delivery.- Ensure adequate manning and shift management of Colleagues in line with business levels.- Assist in the correct usage of all chemicals in the department.- Take the lead in development training of Colleagues and ensure mandatory development programs are completed on time.- Perform walk-through with Assistant and Chief Steward on a day to day basis- As per the IHG Performance Management Cycle, hold individual performance management discussions on a regular basis.- With the aid of the Chief Steward and other supervisors, hold regular meetings to enhance Colleague engagement in the department.- Managing internal and outside catering set ups and breakdown of equipment. - Responsible for organizing B.E.O's for various shifts.- Responsible for overseeing the use of chemicals in accordance with OSHA & HACCP standards among other responsibilities.

What we need from you

A Colleague who promotes the IHG Culture around the Winning Ways of Do the Right Thing, Show We Care, Aim Higher, Celebrate Difference and Work Better Together.• At least 3 years experience in a similar role in a 4 or 5 star Hotel.• Good Interpersonal skills.
