We are looking for a Sr. Manager Global Sales Operations and Effectiveness Support who will oversee operations and the performance of Operations to maximize efficiency and profitability. Working with regional leadership and their senior team members on delivering the needs of business through effective communication, driving team collaboration, providing support as required and assigning clear accountability in our goal of continuous business improvement.

Job Description Summary

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in hotel operations as general manager or department head. Multi-unit operations and/or major marketoperations highly desired.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead highly motivated andpassionate team members.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of hotel operations; of rules, laws andregulations relating to new hotel openings; and of applicable systems andprograms.

  • Demonstrated clear, concise and succinct communication skills,including adapting both verbal and written communications to the needs andlevel of user.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of hotel systems, programs, revenuemanagement and training principles and procedures.

  • Demonstrated ability to keep current with industry trends/changes.

  • Demonstrated problem solving and time management skills.

  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage multipletasks/clients required.

  • Demonstrated aptitude to learn and adapt to fast changingenvironment and modify plans as needed.

  • Demonstrated project management experience in organizing, planningand implementing program and promotion rollouts, hotel pilot programs andtargeted centralized training events.

  • Decisions made by this positiondirectly impact IHG’s relationships with key customers, owners, investors andfranchisees.

  • Utilization of a contact management system with an ability toclearly document call details and any timely follow-up notes and actions asrequired.
