We have an exciting

Head of the Department opportunity for you to join our Food &Beverage team as our Director of Food & Beverage, managing

our entire F&B outlets and conference and banquet facilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESare:

  • Drive promotions that delivergreat dining experiences for guests at a good value.

  • Determines the requiredorganizational structure within the division to ensure the successfulimplementation of commercial strategies that support the achievement ofall key F&B metrics

  • Collaborates with keydivisional stakeholders to drive F&B and Culinary operations tomaximize commercial synergies and minimize operational inefficiencies.

  • Deploys purposefully allnecessary resources to sustain commercial profitability and whereappropriate ROI.

  • Make sure credit and financialtransactions are handled in a secure manner.

  • Leads and directs thepreparation of the annual departmental operating budget, CAPEX submission,financial plans, and set departmental goals.

  • Monitors budget and controlsexpenses with a focus on food, beverage, and labour costs.

  • Partners with Sales &Events team and relevant stakeholders to identify additional commercialstrategies, propose new concept developments and/or refurbishments todrive revenue generation opportunities.

GUEST EXPERIENCE:

  • Ensures that all food andbeverage facilities are appropriately equipped to ensure the delivery ofan exceptional food and beverage experience.

  • Establishes and achievesquality and guest satisfaction targets.

  • Collaborates with relevantstakeholders to analyze guest feedback to identify and rectify quality orservice delivery trends.

  • Drives problem resolution tomeet guest/customer expectations and build on guest loyalty.

  • Promotes and ensures that Foodand Beverage operations remain competitive and relevant within the localmarket.

  • Ensures that all F&Bofferings across the Hotel are in accordance with IHG brand standards.

RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS:

  • Manage hotel food and beveragemarketing programmes and participate in and maintain system-wide food andbeverage marketing programmes and promotions.

  • Keep a track on competitoractivity / industry innovation. Review and approve menu design andconcepts with the Executive Chef.

  • Make sure regulated HACCPstandards are always met.

  • Handle food and beverageinventory procedures. Determine minimum and maximum stocks for all food,beverage, material, and equipment.

  • Documentation and reports needto be kept updated.

Qualifications

Fluency in English is a must; as well as higher education qualification (equivalent in Hotel Management, culinary arts, or related field) and 4 years’ related experience, including management experience.
