This 204 bedroomed hotel, offers five state-of-the-art meeting rooms and award winning F&B outlets including; Voltaire Champagne and Cigar Bar, double AA Rosette awarded Diciannove, AA Rosette awarded Chinese Cricket Club and the City Lounge. Due to an Internal promotion Crowne Plaza London, The City are looking to Recruit an experienced Revenue Manager.

Our Revenue Manager sits on our Hotel Executive team and reports directly to Paul Watson, our General Manager.

Your day to day

As Revenue Manager, you will drive and set strategies to grow the business through proactive selling. You will have a strong focus on Rooms, with the aim to exceed planned revenue targets and gain a competitive advantage. You will maximise hotel revenues through effective pricing, inventory and channel distribution management. You will ensure that you are effectively yielding the business through pricing for each market segment, monitoring competitors pricing, and being aware of market activity and ensuring revenues are optimised at all times. Key Responsibilities:

  • To play a senior role within the hotel commercial team to develop and drive revenue strategies across all revenue streams, optimising all available space through all distribution channels.

  • Ensure that sales and pricing strategies are based on commercial judgement through effective analysis and reporting.

  • Ensure professional and efficient utilization of all systems, in line with company best practices and standard operating procedures.

  • Ensure effective information gathering and analysis is conducted in order to identify and maximise on all possible opportunities and minimise any risks.

  • Ensure that relevant hotel and above-hotel commercial team members are actively engaged in all revenue decisions by maintaining regular communication to effectively implement, drive and review strategies and controls.

  • Manage and develop the Reservations team.

  • Integrate with other functions to ensure we exceed our customer’s and owner’s expectations.

What we need from you

The ideal candidate should have had at least two year’s proven Revenue Management experience and are a motivated, analytical, and passionate individual who is results driven with excellent communication skills, then we want to hear from YOU!

Essential to have previous, current Central London Revenue Management experience ideally within the London City area, and from a quality environment.

  • To be able to demonstrate excellent standards and team member management

  • Proficient in all Rooms Reservations procedures to be a resource when needed

  • Commercially aware

  • Driven and ambitious to inspire the team to consistently deliver and exceed service standards

  • Clear thinker with excellent communication abilities and attention to detail

  • Strong working knowledge of Opera Sales & other Management Systems

  • All applicants must be able to work varying shifts including night, weekends and bank holidays.
