IHG Accommodation Manager - Crowne Plaza & Holiday Inn Al Thuraya City - Kuwait in Kuwait City, Kuwait
Manager ensures that all rooms and public areas are cleaned to the highest
standard. Directly manage the Accommodation complex. Ensures strict compliance
with hotels policies and processes.
Duties and responsibilities
Comply with Hotel Policy regardinguniform and personal hygiene.
Liaise with HR Director / Assist HR Manager regarding staff accommodation room moves and act on any information given.
Issue keys, room lists, houseassistant check lists and cleaning schedules to accommodation staff at thebeginning of shift and collect and check them at end of shift.
Checkall work given to the Maintenance throughout the day to ensure standards isbeing adhered to.
ExcellentKnowledge on of how to inspect properties, and competition check.
RegularlyInspect rooms for cleanliness, appearance and also to make sure these areas arekept as per the hotels standard.
Ensureall Maintenance work in Rooms and Laundry is rectified prior to releasing roomsfor new hire employee.
Ensuringthat accommodation is clean well maintained and attractively presented.
Ensurethat company standards for rooms, furnishings, and accommodation services aremet or exceeded.
Maintainstock levels of linen and amenity requirements in order to ensure consistencyin standards.
able to work on their own initiative and have the ability to lead and direct a
degree in Hospitality Management is an asset or Graduates bachelor degree
and/or diploma in hotel or other related field. Proficient in Microsoft Office
2 years work experience as Accommodation Manager or assistant accommodation
manager within the hotel industry as well as possess excellent customer care
and interpersonal skills
