An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us on a fixed term contract until the end of April with a possibility of a permanent position thereafter. As a marketing executive, you will be providing marketing and communication support to the Campaign Management team by helping to manage and implement all marketing activities for global and regional luxury brand initiatives (e.g. InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Regent Hotels and Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants)).
You will manage the communication to numerous internal and external stakeholders, including corporate commercial teams, Global Marketing teams and sales teams, on information or other established processes. You will act as a contact point for agencies and suppliers, ensuring briefs are accurate and appropriate and that work is carried out per specification and timelines. Execute the Global Marketing annual budgeting and marketing plan.
Marketing Programme Implementation: Support the delivery of global and regional luxury marketing activities and campaigns in the region in close collaboration with the Global Luxury Brand team, and the Global Marketing Shared Services team, coordinating campaigns from brief intake to delivery and measurement.
Stakeholder management: Act as a marketing support for the Global Luxury Brand team as well as the Global Marketing Shared Services team, ensuring key stakeholders are informed and understand all marketing activities taking place for the luxury category.
What we are looking for
Degree level education, ideally with a Business/Marketing focus.
2+ years’ experience in marketing and/or sales in the hotel or travel industry preferred
Strong presentational and influencing skills
Previous experience in multi-channel international environment preferred but not a must
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Marketing knowledge including first experiences in at least 2-3 of the below areas:
The creation and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns on paid, owned and earned channels
Performance driven marketing: analysis, appropriate action, metrics & reporting
Use of market research & insight o working within an integrated sales & marketing function to drive results
Developing and delivering Partnership Marketing and exploitation programs
Sales Promotions (including 3rd party)
