Your day to day
This general manager position is responsible for overseeing the operations of a focused-service hotel. The general manager will direct and oversee all operational activities and departments in the hotel. The general manager is responsible for maximizing revenue, delivering a positive experience, and providing exceptional customer service for the guests. The general manager is also responsible for keeping guest satisfaction as high as possible.
The ideal candidate will have at least one to two (1-2) years of hotel management or job-related experience. Experience in managing a profitable hotel and managing budgets, while working in highly productive environments is a plus. Potential candidates must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills. The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with creating documents, spreadsheets, and operating other business-related computer programs.
If you can oversee the day-to-day operations of a hotel by providing exceptional customer service; implementing and adhering to franchise hotel standards while developing short and long term financial goals this could be the job for you! As a general manager, you must be willing to accommodate fluctuating business demands which will include working some evenings, weekends, and holidays-depending on business needs.
