Overview

We are looking for a development Director to join our Frankfurt office. You will be responsible for the increase in distribution of IHGs brands in Germany in line with the strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build an effective network to prospect leads from existing and new investors

  • Prioritise deals appropriately recognizing the investors ability to deliver, and the deal’s alignment with the targets and strategic goals

  • Negotiate franchise and management contract deals for IHG

  • Process deals through the IHG approval process

  • Manage personal deal signings and pace against targets

  • Manage contract renewals

  • Support high value investors with site-finding and evaluation

  • Support investors in dealings with the local authorities regarding zoning and building application

What we are looking for

  • Goal driven – strong drive for results

  • Effective networker with customer focus

  • Commercial acumen

  • Influencing and negotiation skills

  • Self motivated, highly organized and ability to prioritise

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Equivalent to German 'Arbitur'

  • Fluent in German and English

  • Proficient with excel, power point, word

  • Knowledge in data-basing

  • 10 years post qualification experience within the hospitality industry preferred
