Crowne Plaza Edinburgh Royal Terrace offers each guest a diversity of facilities. The hotel offers bar and restaurant, In addition, the hotel has its own fitness centre, a club lounge and banquet and conference facilities.

This role reports as part of the Front Office Team and works closely with the Reception Manager to deliver exceptional customer service.

Your day to day

You will be responsible for:

  • Meeting and welcoming guests upon arrival.

  • Taking reservations and answering general enquiries by telephone and email.

  • Preparing daily briefings for the team.

  • Up selling Restaurant reservations.

  • General enquiries by telephone and email.

  • Contribute with the day to day duties relevant to the reception team.

What we need from you

Our Receptionist should have worked in a customer facing role, dealing with Guest interaction on a daily basis, and should

  • Speak fluently English and preferably another foreign language.

  • understanding of Opera

  • Good communicative skills

  • Able to work under pressure

  • Hospitable
