InterContinental Edinburgh The George are looking for Breakfast Manager to Lead our amazing Breakfast Team.
InterContinental Edinburgh The George has been welcoming hotel guests since 1881. A nod to Edinburgh’s rich literary heritage, The Printing Press Bar & Kitchen was once home to acclaimed novelist Susan Ferrier), whilst Burr & Co. is a lovely coffee shop with a devoted local following.

Reporting directly to the Restaurant & Bars Director, The Breakfast Manager will lead the Hotel’s Breakfast team. You will be responsible for This ensuring the Breakfast service is a memorable, friendly and delectable dining experience for every guest, every time. The Breakfast manager plays an integral role in the team by offering their specialist skills and knowledge to the food and drink offering, which naturally live the values, promote our brand and hotels reputation.
As our Breakfast Manager you will create and foster an environment that is team-oriented, professional and delivers a sharing service culture within the area that will ensure the experience leaves the guest feeling reassured and taken care of.
What we’re looking for:
We are looking for a self-motivated forward-thinking Breakfast Manager with a strong Hotel Breakfast background as well as proven management experience within a lifestyle/luxury hotel environment.
Our ideal candidate will need to demonstrate high levels of guest focus and display that they have a solid people focused approach. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to lead and develop your team and influence across all areas of the business.
As Breakfast Manager you will have a hands-on approach and take a proactive role within the department in order to identify and support needs of our guests and colleagues.
You will be an inspirational leader, who is passionate in delivering extraordinary guest experiences and who takes pride in sharing success with your team.
