Your day to day

Join us as a Sales Manager- Leisure in Holiday Inn Bur Dubai - Embassy District:As Sales Manager you’ll implement sales and marketing strategies for the hotel, assist the Director of Sales & Marketing to create and implement tactical plans and ensure revenue goals are achieved. You'll also regularly sell hotel rooms, meeting rooms, and food and beverage to client contacts.You’ll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills. Because, for this vital role, we’re looking for someone who can handle the following key job responsibilities:• To identify new business opportunities, expanding market share, developing strategic sales and marketing plans• Solicits for businesses from the clients by conducting daily field calls, networking activities, correspondence etc.• Facilitates sales activities in the segment to be in line with the Hotel’s business plan.• To take a proactive stance in all business servicing and solicitation, at all times displaying a professional conduct in line with the IHG Code of Conduct & Business Ethics.• Meeting business targets and contribute effectively towards overall Hotel PerformanceQualifications• Minimum 2 years hotel sales experience within the UAE • University graduate in hotel management or equivalent• Holder of a UAE driving license• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Power Point• Excellent communication skills• Strategic thinking, planning, forecasting and skill for negotiation
