We'll help you create the warmest welcome. Whether you're preparing a suite exactly as your guest wants it, recommending tasty comforts from The Pantry, or just knowing guests by their name, rather than their room number. Your big-hearted personality will help guests feel free to be themselves.
Your day to day
As Duty Manager, you'll keep our hotel running smoothly, make sure everything is working well and all our guests are safe and comfortable. You'll maximize financial returns, driving the development of people, creating and maintaining a memorable guest experience, executing brand standards, and building awareness of hotel and brand in the local community. You will manage the activities of a front desk shift ensuring that guests receive prompt, professional attention and personal recognition.
What we need from you
Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with guests, employees and third parties that reflect highly on the hotel, the brand, and the company.
Good writing skills.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Front Office Systems.
Problem-solving and organizational abilities.
Take charge of the department in the absence of the Front Office Manager.
Generate business performance reports as requested by the management.
Actively attend meetings and discussions and action the tasks delegated with efficiency.
Liaise with local authorities and represent the hotel as required during any investigations, inspections, audits or dispute resolution.
