Hotel Indigo Dubai Business Bay is scheduled to open Q4 2018

and we are now seeking a Director of Marketing & Sales to drive the

pre-opening and operating commercial agenda of this vibrantly designed

lifestyle hotel located in a key location in Dubai.

As the first lifestyle branded hotel of IHG in the Middle

East, this exciting project really is something to be part of.

The hotel will boast 270 tastefully decorated rooms, each

designed to reflect the hotels neighborhood story, the story of Dubai.

Other facilities that our guests can expect include an

infinity pool deck, fully equipped fitness centre and our neighborhood café and

bar, both offering seamless service and array of experiences reflecting this

expressive neighborhood.

This role oversees and directs all aspects of the hotels Marketing

& Sales activities including rooms, restaurants and bars.

Responsibilities include the development of launch strategies

and marketing plans, across digital, PR, content development, channels and

social ; oversee and assist with the execution of the operating sales and

marketing plan and S&M expenses management ; management of the sales and

marketing team and reporting on effectiveness of the plan.

Responsibilities also require direct and routine interaction

with IHG’s Regional Sales and Marketing office.

This role is predominantly marketing driven, so the ideal

candidate would come from a marketing background with the ability to develop

and execute winning commercial strategies

Individual must be friendly, enjoy learning new things and working in a

team environment. Must be flexible, willing to work smart, get along well with

others and have the passion to go the extra mile to surprise and delight our

guests.

Duties and Responsibilities

Experience –

·

Evidence

of personal and professional development experience in

previous senior marketing roles.

·

Relevant

experience of leading and managing a team at senior level.

·

Evidence of having developed

successful and creative marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and

customer loyalty.

·

4 years of

relevant experience or similar supervisory role, or an equivalent combination

of education and work-related experience.

You'll report directly to the General

Manager and supervise the Revenue, PR, Sales, Reservations and Marketing teams

and you’ll play a big role in supporting the overall success of the hotel.

Qualifications

Ideally, you'll have a Bachelor Degree in Marketing or

related discipline, with a minimum of 5 yrs experience within the marketing

field. Ideally you will have worked in a multi-unit capacity within a

recognized multi-national organization.
