Following our recent transform for growth change programme and a series of promotions we are looking to recruit a Capital & Cashflow Manager to join the Group Finance team in Denham.
As a Capital & Cashflow Manager you will undertake a diverse role which contributes to a broad range of projects, working closely with finance partners depending on the specific needs across the annual calendar of events. Focussing on current and longer term trading performance and investment opportunities you will have a broad view of IHG’s financial performance and play a pivotal role in delivering critical reporting to the Group Executive Committee and IHG Board.
Your day to day
Preparation of the Group capital and mid/long-range cashflow forecast.
Allocation of available capital across expenditure types, strategic initiatives, and regions/functions
Understands Group guidelines on capital appraisal
Understands the IHG valuation model and answers ad-hoc questions on its workings from stakeholders
Manages the approval of capital and other expenditure to the Executive Committee Capital Sub-Committee in line with Group Delegation of Authority policies, and manages the group’s Post Project Review process for presentation to Board Audit Committee
Contributes to maintenance of the group full year and multi-year view of cash flow forecast, working with stakeholder functions to determine inputs and cash inflows/outflows.
Assists with the preparation of the Group capital and cashflow Budget, Plan and Long-Rang Plan.
Proactively provide insightful analysis and updates to CFO, Board, EC, & Investor Relations on Group capital, investment, and cashflow, including around external financial announcements.
What we need from you
As a Qualified Accountant (ACA) you will possess strong technical acumen & analytical skills including an ability to conduct deep dive analysis into complex global data. If you have experience of working within a group finance team, a passion for understanding key trading metrics and enjoy delivering financial insight then we have room for you. Alternatively if you are a qualified ACA with exposure to Deal Advisory, Transactionary Services or other suitable specialism looking for a first step into industry then we can offer an excellent learning environment
