We’re searching for an enthusiastic Intern to join our talented Channel & Loyalty Education division within IHG Corporate Head Office. The Role

The Channel & Loyalty Education Intern will support the team and coordinate incoming questions and emails from hotels, provide information on education and training needs.The role will help our hotels book and ensure clear understanding of the events the Channel and Loyalty Education team offer and carry out. This will include helping to assess further understanding of programmes, systems and functions to effectively support the hotels.Key responsibilities: • Project manage the team calendar and webinar bookings along with team meetings and other training• Manage various user databases and its users and support data collection and management for easier identification of trends and performance• Support the day to day management of team budget• Monitor and answer the joint team inbox email enquiries and requests from the hotel community on a variety of topics including• Support the team with hotel communication updates through the Intranet department page, hotel facing newsletters etc• Updating training documentation such as presentations, trackers and various other content• Communicate with key stakeholders on training and meetings using the appropriate/required tools.

What we’re looking for

The Channel & Loyalty Education Intern will have or be working towards a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration or Education. You will have likely had some hotel or hospitality experience, emphasising on proficiency in customer service, hotel operations and/or training.You will have demonstrated knowledge of Excel and can understand data and analyse this. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and can produce clear and concise verbal presentations, adapting to the cultural understanding of the audience.The Channel & Loyalty Education Intern will be able to solve problems and provide creative and intuitive solutions. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated attention to detail and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and projects as required by the team and will have experience in writing reports and liaising with stakeholders.Although not essential, other European languages are preferred.
