This is an exciting opportunity to join the IHG family to work with our iconic Holiday Inn and Staybridge Suites brands.
With more than 280 Holiday Inn hotels in Europe, we are currently undertaking an important transformation of the brand, where we are making significant innovative steps to improve the guest experience through the Open Lobby and new guest room designs. And with 11 Staybridge Suites properties in Europe - and more in the pipeline - we are working hard to ensure guests feel comfortable while they are away from home for extended periods of time.
We are looking for a Brand Management Executive to work in this tight knit team and help to continue developing these two brands to their full potential. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day brand management duties and you will be supporting two Brand Managers and a Program Manager in shaping the brand strategy and delivering guest experience and design brand initiatives.
Your day to day
Support Brand Manager in working with Strategy and Consumer Insights to identify and develop research requirements for thorough understanding of the market and consumers’ needs and brand perceptions in order to make continuous improvements to the brand proposition and hallmarks
Review data sources such as commercial metrics, brand equity (BDRC and Millward Brown) to monitor brand performance and help formulate a diagnostic of brand performance, strengths and weaknesses
Guest Experience & Design Development
Participate in the design, delivery and continuous enhancements of all brand standards innovation, including review and development of brand hallmarks, food and beverage proposition, guest room & public spaces design, service training and delivery, etc.
Understand key drivers of guest satisfaction and cost to deliver a great brand experience, make trade‐offs to ensure highest satisfaction and loyalty delivered at most profitable returns to owner and IHG
Support Brand Manager in creating compelling business cases for all brand standard developments, clearly demonstrating owner and corporate ROI in case for change
On-going Brand Management
Support Program Manager on the delivery and performance measurement of the Brand Transformation roll-out (public spaces and guest rooms)
Track compliance of key brand initiatives
Be responsible for managing the brand standards process and waiver requests from hotels
Be responsible for managing budgets and tracking spends accurately
Be a key point of contact for owners and operators to answer any brand questions or re-direct them to the relevant teams within IHG
Develop and maintain excellent working relationships across all functions at all levels to ensure cross-functional synergies including with Procurement, Food & Beverage, Design & Engineering, Operations, New Hotel Openings, Development, Strategy, Marketing Communications, Standards & Quality and across the other regions (AMER, EMEAA – East, Greater China)
Manage internal communication channels (Brand Central / Merlin)
Support Brand Manager to drive the internal communications strategy
What we are looking for
Experience in Marketing / Brand Management within the region, in a multinational company
2 years experience in Marketing / Brand Management (or completed graduate scheme / hotel management degree)
Experience in managing multi-partner relationships
Project management skills
Ability to analyse, interpret and extract trends from data
Proficiency in marketing fundamentals
Strong business mindset
Hotel, Tourism and Hospitality experience not essential but preferred
