for Cluster Director of Sales – IHG Dead Sea Hotels to join our

energetic, enthusiastic and passionate team at Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead SeaResort & Spa and Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea.

area. Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort & Spa and Holiday Inn ResortDead Sea are only a 45-minutes’ drive from Queen Alia International

Airport. The 420 rooms in Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort & Spa

and the 202 rooms in Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea are equipped with an

array of modern amenities and latest technology.

For meetings and

conferences, the hotel is well equipped for hosting business and social

gatherings of every description, with five flexible function rooms. Over 750

colleagues at the two properties are committed to maintain the highest

standards of luxury, quality and service which define the company.

As Cluster Directorof Sales – IHG Dead Sea Hotels you will be reporting directly to the GeneralManager (GM) and below are some of the key responsibilities:

·

Preparing yearly Sales and

PR plans and budgets supporting the strategy of the hotels through tactical

marketing campaigns to exceed the targeted revenues of each unit

·

In depth understanding of

total hotel revenue management and development of processes and strategies

(including sales cycles& trends, account management, pricing &

inventory management).

·

Thinking creatively to find

solutions to challenges and to drive revenues

·

Understanding market trends

and competitive environment to develop strategies and plans to drive

performance.

·

Gathering and analyzing

competition information to review pricing structures.

Analyzing economic, financial, industry & organizational data to develop

appropriate short term and long term strategies and action plans to meet both

hotel and company goals.

·

Knowledge of business and

management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation,

human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and

coordination of people and resources.

·

Communicating openly

and effectively with key internal stakeholders including all GMs, Hotel

Managers and key department heads.

·

Establishing effective

relationships with customers and internal partners; promoting openness, trust

and confidence in one's intentions.

·

Clearly conveying

information and ideas through a variety of media; engaging the audience and

helping them understand and retain the message.

·

Knowledge of principles and

processes for providing customer services. This includes customer needs

assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer

satisfaction

Qualifications

·

Charismatic leader who can

inspire and motivate the Sales team

·

Experience in Jordan market

is a must

·

Excellent communication

skills across all mediums - presentation, telephone, correspondence, face to

face etc. in English languages, Arabic language is preferred.

·

Ability to set up a winning

team to handle all Sales activities including corporate sales, Conference &

Events , Local and int. PR.

·

Experience & ability to

develop leading strategies to drive MICE from both the local &

international market

·

Ambitious and eager to

learn, grow and further develop own career

·

High level of common sense

and high skill of problem solving and decision making

·

Drive for results to

outperform competition

·

Proven track of a minimum 5

years' experience as DOS in a 5* Hotels & Resorts

·

Degree from a university or

hotel school preferably in marketing or tourism/hospitality management
