This position has overall responsibility for cleaning and servicing the assigned public areas according to established quality standards and procedures. You will clean and service assigned areas according to established standards and procedures which may include public restrooms, lobby area, public phone areas, vending areas, etc. You may also be cleaning employee break areas and restrooms. You will report to supervisor needed repairs or unsafe conditions while you monitor and control supplies and amenities, and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping. You might regularly assist with deep cleaning projects and assist with other duties as assigned.
Requirements include basic reading, writing and math skills with some housekeeping experience preferred. You may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. This job requires ability to perform the following: carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds and pushing and/or pulling approximately 200 pounds, frequently standing up and moving about the facility, frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility, requently bending, stooping and kneeling.
