TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-Drive all aspects of revenue management discipline in the Hotel to maximize revenues and profit contribution.

-Lead cross-functional decision making of all revenue generating departments including Sales and Marketing, Rooms, Catering and Food and Beverage departments.

-Understand the composition of hotel profitability, and use this to evaluate business from local accounts and groups so as to provide input future rate settings and negotiation.

-Monitor competitor pricing for all revenue generating departments, understand the dynamic of the local market and demand generators, recommend appropriate actions to the Revenue Room Taskforce in relation to the hotel’s pricing and market mix.

-Monitor and determine demand periods for function space, rooms and catering through an analysis of historical data and current bookings.

-Contribute to the overall strategic plan of the business and help compile the annual hotel business plan.

-Provide input to the annual budget process on all revenue aspects of the business.

-Champion all special projects relating to market research and operational optimization.

REQUIREMENTS

-University/College degree in Economics preferably in Tourism and Hospitality

-Minimum 5 years professional experience in Revenue management preferably in hotels

-Fluent written and oral language skills in English, Hungarian would be beneficial

-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

-Thorough knowledge of hotel IT / revenue systems

-Ability to work in team and independently

-Positive attitude

-Goal-oriented personality
