This role is responsible for coordinating services for clients and in-house

guest and provide administrative and sales support for the department.


  • Respond to client callsand special requests and obtain final details, dates, times, and hotel room andmeeting room requirements. Regularly follow-up with clients and maintainaccurate and updated information.

  • Perform administrativeduties such as typing proposals, letters, contracts, etc. Collect data,update data-bases, and complete departmental monthly reports.

  • Resolve requests and/orcomplaints to the satisfaction of the guest; inform supervisor of majorproblems, complaints, disturbances or dissatisfied clients.

  • Promote team work andquality service through daily communication and coordination with otherdepartments. Coordinate details with other departments such as VIPamenities, special requests, or other service needs or special handling.

  • May coordinate outsidevendor service’s needs (floral displays, audio/visual, etc.) whereappropriate. Regularly follow-up to ensure set-up requirements meetclient needs.

  • Perform other duties asassigned (including but not limited to: guest room tours, property tours,special guest requests, maintaining calendars, answering phones and routing toappropriate sales staff, handling of mail, faxes, etc.)


Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent plus 1 year experience in a sales/catering office, hotel reservations, hotel front desk or related field. Some College is preferred. You must be able to type at least 50 wpm; proficient computer skills. You may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
