Your day to day
POSITION OVERVIEW: This role has overall responsibility for managing day-to-day activities in the Club Lounge. As Executive Lounge Manager you will be responsible for the overall satisfactions of all guests in the Executive Lounge, the productivity and engagement of the Executive Lounge Attendants and the profitability of the department.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure all staff is properly trained and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their job functions
Develop and maintain procedures for monitoring and handling all guest requests
Complete opening and closing duties in the lounge
Order supplies and maintain appropriate par levels for equipment needs in the Executive Lounge
Complete headcount and forecast reports for food and beverage needs as required
Schedule attendants according to business needs
Ensure all InterContinental policies and procedures and Forbes service standards are being followed by the Club Lounge team
Build relationships with outside vendors to ensure the guest experience is seamless
You may serve as "manager on duty" as required.
What we need from you
QUALIFICATIONS: Some college and three years Front Office/Guest Service experience at a hotel of similar size and complexity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. A Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred. You will be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
