An exciting opportunity has become available for a Commis
Chef to join our talented and fun loving crew! This role is all about fine
tuning your skills in food preparation and having a willing attitude to learn. The
magic lies in the learning, because with IHG you’ll have many opportunities to
develop and progress your career. The
role requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights,
weekends and/or holidays. You must have a visa to be considered.
Prepare and cook orders in accordance with
portion and quality standards
Control food usage to minimise waste
Advise supervisor of low inventory items;
assists in receiving items
Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards in
the kitchen area
Follow all established safety protocols and
procedures at all times
May assist by performing dish washing or other
kitchen duties as needed
Certificate or equivalent in culinary training
At least 1 years’ experience in kitchen
Willingness to learn
