What you will need is ambition, talent and some key skills. For this

vital role, we’re looking for someone who is responsible for the successful

execution and delivery of all hotel and owner solution products (enhancements,

corrections technical requirements and integration) and other ongoing release

plan management details to improve owner value proposition.

  1. Responsible for

managing all product roadmap for hotel and owner technology across all regions

  1. Own, direct, and

manage hotel and owner solutions portfolio including IHG Concerto

  1. Responsible for implementation

of all guest facing and in

room technology across regions.

  1. Gather, understand

and direct the creation of all technical requirements which will define the functionality of all hotel and owner products.

  1. Partner in decision

making surrounding delivery methodologies across the project landscape to drive

the most efficient delivery model and increase the speed to market

  1. Work in collaboration

with Global Technology, Revenue Management, DRM, Brands, Operations, and other

business leaders to ensure integration with internal IHG corporate systems

  1. Own all

user-acceptance testing, hotel user testing and beta deployment activities in

preparation for full global deployment.

Ensure system is stable and deployment techniques are solid before

certifying product for production rollout.

  1. Own vendor and

supplier management and product portfolio management for H&OS group

  1. Consult globally with

all regions, brands, stakeholders, and regional hoteloperators/owners/managers

to gather feedback

  1. Responsible for

curating and managing a repository of all solutions, systems and applicationsdeployed globally.

developing regional, IHG internal and external solutions that deliver on the

owner life cycle management value proposition

Lead and develop

teams of highly experienced, motivated and talented professionals

Ensuring all products

and solutions are appropriate for all regions.

Facilitate

collaboration among internal IHG teams to ensure Brands Standards are met by

products and services

Ensure integration

between all current and future products

Qualifications

Educational Attainment:

• Bachelor’s degree (Master preferred) with

progressive work experience in Computer Science/MIS/IT, Business Administration

or Engineering or equivalent combination of education and work related

experience

Critical Expertise & Experience:

• 10 years in Hotel IT or IT Management role with

minimum of 7 years in regional management capacity

• Demonstrated experience working with multiple

cultures and managing hotels/vendors/Owners across different countries within

hospitality or related industry

• Strong architectural foundation and systems

level knowledge with a demonstrated understanding of Property Management

Systems, reservation systems, yield management systems, point of sale systems,

and other hotel based systems

• Experience in engaging cross functional working

partnerships in a global organization

• Strong influencing/consensus building and

analytical skills

• Strong leadership, team building, interpersonal

and communication skills

Owns:

• Decisions related to hotel or owner products,

services and solutions deployed within the IHG enterprise, including our on

property Hotel and Owner facing applications for all managed and franchised

hotels

• Go / No Go decisions for hotel / owner

technology deployments

• Technology standards assessment and adoption for

all Hotel and Owner products/services

Influences:

• Enterprise systems and roadmap

• Competitive overall Owner Value Proposition in

relation to other hotel chains

• Cross functional participation within other IHG

groups to drive incremental value for Hotels and Owners (Loyalty, Channel

Distribution, Marketing, Finance, etc.)
