Develop and contribute to the publishing of content, which includes writing, editing and reviewing marketing and business-related content for the Company’s direct revenue-producing global web sites. Provide first line support and operational management of the content management tool. Provide support and direction to other project team members and work directly with other teams to troubleshoot environment and application issues and ensure adherence to development and design standards. Responsible for managing the work load allocation for all content-related requests to other team members.
Your day to day
Essential Duties and Responsibilities – (Key Activities)
Manage content request ticketing system and ensure timely publication of content
Create and/or maintain timely and relevant web content for the Company’s consumers to meet client’s needs, current business climate, user’s wants and E-commerce mission.
Responsible for content personalization development and maintenance in accordance with Company standards and technical and development requirements. Perform timely updates or resolve defects as they are identified.
Responsible for testing content management system enhancements and upgrades to ensure quality control for projects and code, and for prioritization and implementation of enhancements and upgrades.
Manage all content tasks related to production code releases
Serve as 24/7 on-call resource for production and test site emergencies.
Train and mentor other project team members including peers, team leads and managers. Create documentation for estimation, design, and transition of applications.
Contribute to implementing tools or applications for improving content management efficiency and processes
What we need from you
Associate or Bachelors Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.
4 to 7 years progressive work-related experience in an internet environment with demonstrated technical proficiency related to the position, including 2+ years experience with a content management system, such as Day Communiqué or Interwoven TeamSite, and 4+ years experience with HTML and web editing tools
Technical skills and Knowledge –
Demonstrated understanding of the Internet, browsers and search engines.
Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills for the purpose of conveying information to internal and external customers, or providing information via written reports or correspondence.
Demonstrated core competency with HTML, Adobe PhotoShop, Dreamweaver
Demonstrated ability to create and maintain corporate web sites
Basic understanding of the web project lifecycle
Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate technical problems and solutions in a non-technical manner
Demonstrated project management experience in organizing, planning and executing projects from conception through implementation.
Majority of work is performed in a normal office environment.
Occasional travel required as needed to facilitate business objectives (generally less than 10%).
