What you will need is ambition,
talent and some key skills. For this vital role, we’re looking for someone who
and deploy direct Internet channel marketing campaigns for both brand-specific
and multi-brand audiences in order to (1) increase channel adoption by existing
customers and (2) increase overall demand for our brands’ offerings. Campaigns include stand-alone initiatives as
well as integrated programs designed to be incorporated into non-channel
specific brand marketing campaigns.

Internet channel are incorporated into all brands messaging where
appropriate. Identify addressing
opportunities to influence future booking behavior of current hotel guests
through pervasive in-hotel marketing programs.

implementation of initiatives and serve as primary contact with internal
services, external agencies and hotels for related projects. Optimize all
available channels and communication vehicles and make tactical recommendations
to meet objectives. Coordinate
production of promotional and program materials.

Essential Duties andResponsibilities – (KeyActivities)
Develop brand-specific and multibrandmarketing and promotion campaigns including conceptual design ofregion-specific website functionality designed to increase booking volume tothe Internet channel. Ensure all plansare understood and effectively implemented through liaison with Regional BrandStrategy, Worldwide Sales, Franchise Services and Field Marketing; and utilizethe external solicitation process in conjunction with Hotel Integration tomaximize hotel participation for all programs and promotions.
Serve as key Subject Matter Expert forregional brand marketing strategy questions and issues relevant to the OmniChannelteam product development process.
Identify, recruit, and manageregion-specific affiliates.
Coordinate messaging strategies withcounterparts within other regions and across other brands to ensure consistencyand maximum benefits of scale & frequency.
Analyze and interpret program results,expenditures (budget) and process efficiencies; report and present periodicallyto Regional Director, other E-Commerce Directors and VP, Regional BrandStrategy management team, and E-Commerce Advisory Board members.
or Master's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a
relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and
years progressive work-related experience in consumer brand marketing,
interactive marketing or similar, with a minimum of 4 years professional-level
experience in marketing and demonstrated experience designing marketing
Technical Skillsand Knowledge –
Demonstrated project management experiencein organizing, planning and executing large-scale marketing projects fromconception through implementation.
Demonstrated effective verbal and writtencommunication skills for the purpose of providing information to clients,vendors, senior management and staff. Demonstrated creative talent (conceptualand/or graphical) as evidenced by prior marketing campaigns.
Demonstratedfluency in more than one of the dominant languages within a region stronglypreferred (e.g., German, French, and English for EMEA; English and Spanish forAmericas; English and Mandarin for Asia Pac)
Demonstratedability to develop and implement channel marketing campaigns. Interactive/Internet marketing or agencyexperience preferred.
Demonstratedunderstanding of project and product management and supporting methodologies.
Demonstratedproficiency in Excel (complex sensitivity modeling), Word, and PowerPointrequired. Proficiency in MS Project,HTML authoring tools, and graphic design/image manipulation tools preferred.
Demonstrated“Internet literacy” (both theoretical and practical knowledge of how theInternet works, how it can be used for both informational and transactionalpurposes, and the basic evolutionary history of the medium, required.
Mustpossess superior problem-solving skills combined with team facilitation skill
Utilize,where appropriate, the various marketing programs and tools developed andmanaged by Shared Services Marketing, and contribute to improvement of existingprograms and development of new programs and tools.
Manageregional site content including region-special offers and promotions,brand-specific campaign support pages, region-wide individual hotel amenities,and other regional and local content.
Majorityof work performed in a normal office environment.
Sometravel required as needed (less than 10% of time).
