IHG Americas’ Regional Corporate Office is centrally located at

Job Summary – (Role Summary)

The Director, CMH and Luxury - East will drive the

development, implementation and operation of both strategic and tactical

programs designed to enhance revenue management services penetration and

deliver significant competitive advantage for the Company. Incumbent will be

responsible for the performance and business trend analysis, process

evaluation, budgeting, field-level training, and deployment of Company

resources to achieve strategic objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities – (KeyActivities)

  • Coachand develop On-property Directors of Revenue Management to ensure a good levelof productivity and consistency with IHG Revenue Management Strategy.

  • Provide guidance to directreports in problem identification and resolution.

  • Work with internal departmentsas needed to escalate consistent issues or noted trends and bringresolution.

  • Identify training opportunitieswithin hotel Revenue management teams and coordinate/facilitate trainingat regional events to eliminate gaps.

  • Develop and implementinnovative revenue performance strategies to drive performance in CompanyManaged hotels in assigned markets.

  • Implement and communicatestrategic plans and new company initiatives at assigned hotels portfolio.

  • Champion the CMH RevenueManagement ways of working and Fit for the Future operating model.

  • Drive revenue performance anddelivery of our Winning Metrics

  • Work with team and other keystakeholders to assess competitive data, brainstorming on new ideas tobetter implement strategies, developing innovative consulting ororganizational tools, researching trends, planning for implementation oftargeted programs to hotels, etc.).

  • Develop and present atleadership and regional meetings in the assigned geographic region orbrand.

  • Lead assigned functions withinestablished budgetary and resource plans; establish performance standards,and operating procedures.Participate in creation of department staffing and capital budgets.

  • Asset Responsibility for theteam – Ensure that Company vehicles and training resources, computers andaudio-visual equipment are properly transported, secured and maintained.

Qualifications

Education – Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s

Degree in Hotel Management, Business, or a relevant field of work or an

equivalent combination of education and work-related experience in hotel

operations.

Experience – 12

years progressive work-related experience in the hospitality industry, with

Revenue Management, Sales and multi-unit hotel management experience desired.

At least 5

years of experience managing teams and leading significant complex projects

desired.

Technical skills and Knowledge –

  • Demonstratedexperience to drive successful revenue management strategy at big box hotels inmajor US markets

  • Proven ability todesign and execute multi-year business mix strategies with significant groupshare

  • Deep understanding ofpricing concepts and technics for Luxury and lifestyle brands

  • Experience on leadingcross functional strategies involving Sales, Marketing, Digital, operations andother related areas to drive revenue performance.

  • Demonstrated abilityto lead and develop highly skilled individuals.

  • Demonstrated effectiveverbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providinginformation to clients, vendors, senior management and staff.

  • Demonstratedexperience with industry and market trends as they relate to revenueopportunities, and demonstrated ability to drive revenue.

  • Demonstrated knowledgeof effective hotel pricing concepts, yield management optimization and sellingstrategies, and ability to determine which concepts to apply in given marketconditions.

  • Demonstratedexperience in industry training, including preparation, implementation anddelivery of training programs.

  • Demonstratedanalytical skills and ability to use the results of analysis to make effectivestrategic decisions.

  • Demonstrated problemsolving and time management skills.

  • Demonstrated abilityto identify actions to improve hotel performance and develop an action plantailored to an individual hotel/account’s needs and sophistication.

  • Demonstrated attentionto detail and ability to manage multiple tasks/clients required.

Atlanta, GA

TRAVEL :

Up to 60%, as needed to facilitate business objectives.
