Your day to day

For this vital role, were looking for someone who is responsible for the successful execution and delivery of In room, Guest, and Infrastructure Products/Solutions (enhancements, corrections technical requirements and integration) and other ongoing release plan management details) to improve owner value proposition. Key responsibilities include: Responsible for managing and implementing product roadmaps for In-Room, Guest and Infrastructure solutions across all regions Own, direct, and manage In-Room, Guest and Infrastructure solutions portfolio Responsible for implementation of all In-Room, Guest and Infrastructure solutions across regions. Gather, understand, and direct the creation of all technical requirements which will define the functionality of In-Room, Guest and Infrastructure solutions. Partner in decision making surrounding delivery methodologies across the project landscape to drive the most efficient delivery model and increase the speed to market Work in collaboration with Global Technology, Revenue Management, DRM, Brands, Operations, and other business leaders to ensure integration with internal IHG corporate systems and system functionality. Own all user-acceptance testing, hotel user testing and beta deployment activities in preparation for full global deployment. Ensure system is stable and deployment techniques are solid before certifying product for production rollout. Lead continuous improvement efforts for In-Room, Guest, and Infrastructure solutions including tracking impact/success of new teams based on pre-determined performance metrics, collecting/sharing best practices within/across teams Lead all aspects of vendor management including selection, negotiation, dispute resolution, and long term relationship management. Consult globally with all regions, brands, stakeholders, and regional hotel operators/owners/managers to gather feedback Communicate product information: including product roadmap, specifications, value proposition, sales tools training tools and competitive information to stakeholders Responsible for curating and managing a repository of all In-Room, Guest and Infrastructure solutions, systems and applications deployed globally. Responsible for developing regional, IHG internal and external solutions that deliver on the owner life cycle management value proposition Lead and develop teams of highly experienced, motivated, and talented professionals Ensuring all products and solutions are appropriate for all regions. Facilitate collaboration among internal IHG teams to ensure Brands Standards are met by products and services.

What we need from you

Education Bachelors degree (Master preferred) with progressive work experience in Computer Science/MIS/IT, Marketing, Business Administration or Engineering or equivalent combination of education and work related experience Experience 10+ years progressive work related experience with proficiency in multiple disciplines/technologies/processes related to the position including Travel Industry Distribution, Revenue Management, Hotel Management and Optimization Demonstrated experience working with multiple cultures and managing hotels/vendors/Owners across different countries within hospitality or related industry Strong architectural foundation and systems level knowledge with a demonstrated understanding of Property Management Systems, reservation systems, yield management systems, point of sale systems, and other hotel based systems Experience in engaging cross functional working partnerships in a global organization Strong influencing/consensus building and analytical skills Strong leadership, team building, interpersonal and communication skills
