purpose of this role is to collaborate with the brand team and support the

Brand Supply Chain Director in the development of an end-to-end supply chain

strategy to meet the brand’s objectives. This role will support supply chain

commercialization of brand programs and platforms – driving competitive

advantage for owners and IHG. As such, the Brand Supply Chain Manger is

the day to day interface into the Brand, Guest Experience Shared Service

ecosystem teams, representing the single point of accountability for

Procurement delivery of brand projects. A focus for this role will

be the development and maintenance of a robust supply chain program plan to

effectively leverage Procurement resources in support brand design & development



  • Support Director in design ofglobal supply chain strategy for assigned brand programs to mitigate riskand deliver key metrics

  • Lead the day to day interfaceinto the Agile ecosystems for assigned brand programs

  • Develop and maintain robustbrand supply chain program calendar, enabling proactive management ofCategory and/or Sourcing Ops support needs on brand programs.

  • Ensure usage of PreferredSuppliers and Category strategies and when needed, translate brandobjectives into briefs for category and/or sourcing/ops teams

  • Coordinate programs acrossmultiple projects, categories and teams to ensure consistency

  • Continuous improvement throughvalue engineering on cost per key, year over year, benchmarked tocompetition

  • Return on investment assessmentthrough post project review

  • Create and maintain summariesand reporting for leadership




Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a relevant field of

work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.


5 years’

experience in procurement, consulting and/or supply chain management (a brand /

franchise or hospitality environment a plus)

Technical Knowledge and Experience

  • Strong organizational &project management skills

  • Strong ability to challenge andproactively contribute to project teams

  • Experience working in a supplychain role / procurement role within a brand organization

  • Inquisitive nature– someone inclined to investigate, eager for knowledge, undulycurious and inquiring.

  • Demonstrated strategic thinkingthrough a proven ability to analyze markets, performance data, andbusiness issues and draw insight/conclusions

  • Financial modeling/analysis andunderstanding of basic finance principles and MS Office tools

  • Maintains professional andtechnical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewingprofessional publications; establishing personal networks; participatingin professional societies

  • Good understanding of brandprograms and specifically product development

  • Commercial skills to facilitatedecision making and advice

  • Ability to sustain high impact,trusted relationships with stakeholders & colleagues

  • High degree of accountabilityand personal responsibility

  • Strong self-motivation andability to plan time/priorities across business units for collaboration,data requests, and joint analysis
