IHG Americas’ Regional Corporate Office is centrally

located at the beautiful Ravinia Complex just outside Atlanta’s Perimeter

The purpose of this role is to collaborate with

the brand team to design an end-to-end supply chain strategy to meet the

brand’s objectives. This role will lead supply chain commercialization of

brand programs and platforms – driving competitive advantage for

owners and IHG. As such the Brand Supply Chain Director is the single point of

accountability for Procurement delivery of brand projects across multiple

brands. The Brand Supply Chain Director will draw upon the relevant parts of

Procurement to make this happen and work collaboratively across other

functional business partners. This individual has a key influencing, educating

and facilitation role working in partnership with the brand category SVP and

their leadership team. A focus for this role will be early engagement of

Procurement across brand design/development and ownership of the end-to-end

total cost / cost per key of the given brand(s).

Responsibilities

  • Leading designof global supply chain strategy for brand programs

  • Scout andharvest innovation from the supply chain into the brand teams byleveraging category teams

  • Translatebrand requirements into briefs for category team sourcing

  • Commercializebrand programs

  • Challengebrand design to ensure delivery of IHG and owner ROI

  • Coordinatebrand programs across multiple projects, categories and teams to drivesupply chain leverage

  • Co-creation ofdesigning and delivering guest experiences and optimizing cost

  • Continuousimprovement through value engineering on cost per key, year over year,benchmarked to competition

  • Return oninvestment assessment through post project review

  • Maintainsprofessional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops;reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks;participating in professional societies

  • Contributes toteam effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Qualifications

Education

Bachelors’

Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a relevant field of

work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.

Experience

10 years’

experience in Procurement, Consulting and/or Supply Chain Management in a

global company (hospitality / brand / franchise environment a plus)

Technical Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience working in a supplychain role / procurement role within a brand organization

  • Experience in commercializingproduct and solution design for brand programs

  • Experience in global supplychain program coordination

  • Demonstrable experiencechallenging and influencing senior stakeholders

  • Inquisitive nature– someone inclined to investigate, eager for knowledge, undulycurious and inquiring.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills

  • Strong organizational &project management skills

  • Demonstrated experience drivingand delivering innovation into the business – with examples of practicalapplication

  • Strong understanding of brandprograms and specifically product development

  • Commercial skills to facilitatedecision making and advice

  • Ability to sustain high impact,trusted relationships with senior stakeholders

  • Strong global supply chainstrategist to ensure sustainable program delivery
