Your day to day
• To achieve/exceed budget and hotel sales & marketing plan.• Responsibilities include:• Managing corporate sales activities and events in-line with the annual sales and marketing plan• Develop and maintain contact with business generators, Corporate Networking activists and other producers closely allied to Hotel business.• Build profile within local market place through attendance at various events.• Maintain regular contact with the IHG hotels in the region, KADs and central reservation offices.• Promote the desired work culture around the five winning ways – Aim higher, Work better together, Celebrate differences, Do the right thing & Show we care.
What we need from you
• Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification• 2-3 years of prior experience in Sales & Marketing in a five star environment.• Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends required. Must speak English and other languages preferred. This job requires ability to perform the following:• Arabic Speaker• Excellent command of English• Excellent organizational & administrative skills• Established local network and high ability to build/maintain client relationship• Ability to be self motivated and demonstrate good team work• Computer literacy (Microsoft applications)• Opera• Pro-active approach, and the ability to meet deadlines
