Qualifications

JOBOVERVIEW:

Clean and service the

assigned public areas according to established quality standards and procedures.

DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Cleanand service assigned areas according to established standards andprocedures which may include public restrooms, lobby area, public phoneareas, vending areas, etc. Mayinclude cleaning employee break areas and restrooms.

  • Stripand wax floors as needed, clean and polish all furniture, railings, tabletops, mirrors in assigned areas.

  • Report to supervisor needed repairs or unsafeconditions.

  • Respondto guest complaints, special requests and ensure corrective action istaken to achieve complete guest satisfaction.

  • Monitor and control supplies and amenities, andminimize waste within all areas of housekeeping.

  • Report, turn in, and/or log any lost and founditems according to established procedures.

  • Promote teamwork and quality service throughdaily communication and coordination with other departments.

  • May regularly assist with deep cleaningprojects.

  • May assist with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Basic

reading, writing, and math skills. Some

housekeeping experience and ability to speak English preferred.

This job requires ability to perform the following:

  • Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50pounds and pushing and or pulling approximately 200 pounds

  • Frequently standing up and moving about thefacility

  • Frequently handling objects and equipment tomaintain the facility

  • Frequently bending, stooping, and kneeling,

Other:

  • Communicationskills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting withguests and employees.

  • Basicreading, writing, and math abilities are utilized often when readingassignments, completing checklists, replacing linens and amenities.

  • May be required to work nights, weekends,and/or holidays.
